After a bit of a (holy crap, will I ever be productive again) dry spell, I’m finally, slowly, sending work into the world. The pandemic gave me time to write (did I really not have time to write?). No, more truthfully, the pandemic made it so to not write would have been to blow like a tumbleweed over nondescript land, with no anchor, no perspective, no internal home. And, so, here are a few new essays to share as I chip away at my next book:

“Water Land” in Black Fork Review, 2022

“Lives Are Measured” in The Bangalore Review, 2022

Bird Rearing During a Pandemic” in Under the Sun, 2021

“This Is Not An Argument For Marriage” in Passenger’s Journal, 2021

“When You Died” in SAND, 2020

“The Culinary Lessons of Person Without Needs” in fugue, 2018
